Northeast Florida’s leading solar contractor
American Solar Energy is Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia’s most experienced solar energy contractor. We have been in business since 1984, installing and servicing over 3,000 solar pool heating and hot water systems. While many solar entrepreneurs fled the industry after the first solar tax credits* expired in 1985, Mark Krenn stayed. He and American Solar Energy have served Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia continuously ever since.
Our locally owned and operated company is a member of:
- Northeast Florida Builders Association
- The National Pool and Spa Association
- Florida Solar Energy Industries Association
- Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce
- Better Business Bureau
American Solar Energy is also an approved contractor under the JEA Solar Incentive Program.
American Solar’s diverse product line includes solar water heating systems, solar pool heating systems, and solar electric systems. We are a certified Master Dealer for Aquatherm Ecosun solar pool heating systems.
These products were selected through our years of experience in installation and service. All collectors are made in the USA. The solar hot water units are manufactured right here in Jacksonville, Florida. Our solar collectors are designed to last 30 years or more and carry 20-year warranties. We are confident these fine products will provide our customers with years of trouble-free service. And we remain committed to backing up the confidence you place in us when you select American Solar for your clean energy needs.
Our staff has the deepest experience in solar pool and domestic water heating. You should also know that our installation and service staff are employees dedicated to ensuring quality service, not outside subcontractors who float from job to job.
We look forward to providing you with the system that you need for your home or business!
